Intelligence and wisdom are not the same thing

 

Going to Harvard is a measurement of intelligence.

More intelligence does not necessarily lead to more wisdom.

Being in position of power, intelligence is necessary, but wisdom needs to be the guide.

They should be judged by their policies, not their intelligence, because it is the policies that'll affect our lives.

 

Sometimes, we place undue trust in those who have power is because we, unconsciously, want to unload that burden of responsibility by worshipping those in power.
