should tell you if the rent amount is feasible. And the rent reasonableness survey will pretty much match the initial estimate. Also when the inspection passed, although theoretically, you need to wait for the hap contract, but practically, the tenant can move in and the housing will adjust the contract accordingly. But not every agency follow this practice, especially when you encounter some grumpy inspectors. Those are usually low level, poor government staff, with low pay and living in very poor neighborhood, when they see the house that they inspect, they don't feel happy. They can always find something if they want. The hud housing standard is very detailed. So if you don't have any issue with housing, that is your luck. For me, as your guys, i have been dealing with housing for many years, but this time, it really pissed me off.
