Many year ago, I thought it did not make any difference if you go to an IVy school or a so-so school. 

I got chance to take an executive education at Harvard, which totally changed my opinion.  The faculty and students are of much higher qualities. Education and classes have never been so enjoyable.  (we are not talking about money making here, just from the point of view of intellectual chanllenges)
