  With nearly 50% of Americans receiving some form of Government subsistence help, asking them to reject it is going to be nearly impossible. Take the Earned Income Tax Credit for example. I you are married and file jointly with 2 kids and your Adjusted Gross Income is $46,044 or less you owe no taxes but you get a check from the Government for $5,112. That's an 11% bonus for the year for doing absolutely nothing. And who pays for this? Yep, it's those Greedy Fat Cats in the upper income brackets.
