What's your long term goal? Send your ABC kid back to China?

Being a "Chinese mom", wanted her kids to be success, how come Amy Chua did not even mention about learning Chinese?  

I heard about a family pushed hard on their kid's Chinese.  After the kid graduated from a college, they wanted their kid to take a job in Shanghai.  They thought that's where their roots are and they wanted to "go home".  If that's what you want, you should push for more.
