ooma has live support if you call them, MagicJack only rely on email...
one other thing I need to point out is, MJ 100% rely on your computer, so you need a relatively new and faster computer to make it function, if you computer slow or hung or down, you incoming call will go diretly to voice mail, that is another reason I forward all incoming to my cell, works out great since my cell phone offers free incoming calls...
