Depend on state, deed price is not true any way. I remember that all deed I saw are $10. The sales price is private information in Texas. But buyer and seller do have contract signed and saved in title clsoing officer.

Onlything is that before you sign anything, you need to have an attorney not related to seller review or you know what you are doing and response for it.
