Second xxhhwxc that logged radiator sounds more likely.

If thermostat is new, there is no leak, water pump belt is not loosen, coolant level is not low, and electrical cooling fan is working, then clogged radiator is more likely, especially when you feel that the coolant hose connecting to the engine block is cold when the engine is warmed up indicating coolant is not flowing. I believe the water pump blades should be made from aluminum instead of plastic, at least for the models I worked on. The most common problem with the water pump is the water seal leak or bearing seize which you don't have.
