Question

I just changed a job and the OBRA notice from my previous employer says I can carry the previous group term life at the old rate (group rate) for 18 months, and then I can change it to a personal policy. I'm wondering after 18 months the rate for the personal policy will be higher than the group rate, is that correct? If it goes up, do you have an idea by how much? Thanks much!
