You have not had a normal family life yet! So be cautious when distributing your "life" experience to others.

1. I hope you realize how extremely lucky you are in having a 公婆 like yours. Each family can have only one alpha female. Your 婆婆 let you be the one.

2. The major reason that you could not understand why other people cannot stand living without privacy of their small core family of hu*****and and wife, either during daily life or in vacation, is because you have never lived a life over a long period of time with a small core family. Ever since your marriage in 2001, you spent little time living with your hu*****and alone. In a sense, you have not yet tasted the sweetness of small 2-person DINK life and quickly jumped into a routine married life. Of course you cannot understand how fiercely other people want to protect the privacy of their lives---a basic human right.
