Because 色猫 is independent and financially established, she even bought a two million dollar house by herself. In another words, she afford to wait. If her goal was only to get marry, then she would had married a guy whom wanted to settle down eagerly. However, she loves whom she chose, therefore, she could wait.

All above were only my assumptions.
