I have an Odyssey also, and I don't understand how you can damage the left side mirror. The side mirror has a flexible joint, which can bend over when hitting something. Of course, it can happen, if you missed too much (say, 5-6 inches).

I would suggest you get it done at a shop. There are wires in it. One-hour labor seems reasonable.
