It is big deal. When toweling company take your car, they have the custody of your car and if you drive away the car that is a theft of business property.

You can just pay the money and keep the receipt and dismiss the thing before it go out of the proportions. I dont think the police is too excited about it, otherwise you will be in jail by now.
