if a call from your former boss, good for you!

You get your next job based on your skill, NOT the time length of stying in the current company.
I did interview many candidates who stayed in large company for years with out dated skill, nobody want them anymore.
Go to work with your former boss if you like him.

Explain to the next job interview " Yes, I did jump from there just after a relatively short time, you see it. Actually I really wanted to stay longer, but my former boss strangly asked me back, I have to follow him. Now, I already make him agreed for me to change job, therefore, I will stay long this time if you offer me the job...."
