Why people so upset about 把H比着兰州了?

My cousin's wife's Mother was from Shanghai. She lives in 乌鲁木齐市. She don't want to go back to Shanghai.

My another cousin's wife's Father left 新　疆 and lives in Shanghai. He regreted to move back to Shanghai and Shanghai is so expensive to live, keep complain to his daughter......

乌鲁木齐市is a modern city and confortable to live there. Food and house are very sheap. You can buy anything you want with less money. I am never been in 兰州. But I think 兰州 should be as good as in 乌鲁木齐 (may be not???) . Living condition should be much better then small town.


Any one think 兰州 is not a good place to live, then I just want to know have you ever been there before?
