as "input", the underneath box "Keyboard layout/IME", you should choose "Chinese (simplified)--quanpin"(this is what i chose, you can chose other type method)

Then, click ok, then back to "key setting"--->choose how you want the Chinese typing will display--->"apply".

You should be all set.
