I have business trips to Louisville many times. The office is in downtown and we stayed hotel in downtown, which is a really boring place.
When my company went through restructuring this year, quite a few job functions were moved to Louisville from big cities for cost cutting purposes. However, most people on those moving fuctions would rather quit or wait to be let go than relocate to Louisville. I suppose that says a lot about American's impression about this city. (Of course, these people are from big cities, like NY, LA, Atlanta, etc.)
