I have been watching this cycle for a long time:
Oil price is higher on Tuesday, then fall a lot before or after inventory report at 7:30 AM on Wendzday. So I always sell it on Tuesday and might buy it back on Wendzday near close.

If oil intentory is high, oil price will continue to fall after report.
If oil intentory is low, oil price will go higher on Thursday.
So Wendzday is a turning point.
Check "futuresource.com" for price change of crude oil.
