Not only did I drive it fast, but also did I drive it for long distance trips over 1000 miles.
Most cars die prematurely because the owners forgot to do simple things such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, or they got into accident due to incompetence of handling situations on the road.
By the way, I don't think it is a good analogy to compare old car with old man. Men get tired but cars don't. Even if you drive at 90MPH, the engine RPM is far from the redline, perfectly within the safe margin.
