I am not 100% certain. but based on design, some of engines might have difficulty to get rid of the air, such as the villager, I have seen several reports from owners in an owners' forum that they lost heat after a coolant flush. usually, a bleeding will cure such problem. of course, for villager, there is a bleeding valve on the back the of engine block to help such process, however, when people omit that step, then problem might show up. I am not familiar with taurus, just hope the other brother did not get robbed by the garage who did not bleed the cooling system after the flush.
just a thought.
