普通人（包括财富自由的地主）如何回馈社会？

虽然我承认在美国的10多年，失去了在中国赚钱的黄金机会，但是既来之则安之，回馈社会是我作为美国公民的义务和责任。平时我尽量参与一些力所能及的义务劳动，捐助钱款和衣物。P2每个月捐款给教会400刀。还有什么其他的途径可以更好地帮助其他美国人？到west virginia领养穷人小孩？
