appears that the symptoms of ur daughter can be controlled even w/o medicine. Probably you have not seen a person with strong symptoms. I knew one; he cannot sit for 10 minutes and never turns in homeworks and also shows many other symptoms. The mother refused to see any doctor, and insist that his son is fine.
There is no abosolute answer here. You worry that giving medicine to your daughter might have ruined her; probably u r right. For others, not giving medicine might ruin the life of the kid.
I do not work on ADHD, but want to remind parents here that listening to other opinions can be helpful.
