这个真是不懂怎么interpret 了

Do not get me wrong, I respect Cornell. 但是，这个Cornel 30 分得C的例子，真是不懂怎么interpret 了？

总共768 学生。 

要么：（1） Cornell 教授很tough, 大多数学生都考不及格 （raw score before curving). 可是，如果真的tough, 那不能最后Curve 成大多数人都过了这门课，最后， only 45 /768 人 failed the class, ~~ 5.9% of class 得了D &F， 对吧？

Or， 要么： 

(2) 大多数学生都没达到这个 Cornell Prof. 的要求， （say > 60/100 raw score)

Or,  要么，

（3） This Prof. 不会设计考题，使得 考题失去了出题设计的初衷。
