It is a good way to motivate your kid
to prepare for SAT test. If he/she has a target college, you can easily find out what standard score the college needed to get in( if no legacy, I would see 25% is necessary.) It never be too early.
Just treat the college visit as a trip for parents. If possible, contact the admission office first, attend college introduction lesson would be helpful. A lunch or dinner in campus will be nice, too. Af course, take one or 2 lesson during weekdays will give your kid a better idea about what the college look like.
