儿子申请Grinnell的summer internship资助正式启动

春假结束后送儿子回校，宿舍门口挂了几张提醒学生的广告--拿不到钱的internship别怕，我们这里可以申请资助！截止日期是4/2。。。

我给儿子说，你试试么。需要啥letter，你直接找教授，他会写的。他只说可能有钱资助你，没说一定，你就先申请你们自己学校的。这个过程走一次，也可以学会不少东西---如何把你要做的生物研究和你今后想学的CS-statistics连起来，让审批委员会觉得对你的career有帮助，还是要费点心思的。。。

昨天儿子告诉我--申请正式启动，过了第一关--审批办公室容许他申请。下面和指导教师谈，然后正式走程序。。。

 

给儿子说，别狮子大开口---住家里不要钱。只希望学校提供交通和中晚饭钱，12个礼拜，1200-2400就很好了。。。
