看了下面高MM的贴子， 感慨真是彼之砒霜吾之蜜糖啊

她觉得UTA honor 是不成功，而我们当初报都没敢报。本来UTA在我们首选的几个里， 后来我看到外州学生比较难，而我老公的 partner是那儿毕业的老印， 说有大批  IIT毕业的， 竞争惨烈， 加上离家远，我们就没敢让女儿报。高家暖男进了honor，我非常佩服!

而高家喜欢的 Swarthmore和 Georgetown, 原来也在我们初次名单上，但越看越不喜欢，后来被剔下了。高家娃比我们娃更强的多是， 人家都是自己弄得， 而我们家申请是老爹老妈齐上阵，使出了洪荒之力呵呵 。本来这两个学校也是在初始的 top choices 里的，我家分工是我老公和娃一起按挑专业挑学校，而我做其他的general research。在我把干 M&A due diligence的本事都端出来research 初始名单后，越来越不喜欢这两个学校，和老公商量后，撤了。Georgetown和娃学校关系不错，还给她发了N次信， 包括interview什么的。

所以啊， 在我眼里， 高家娃绝对是成功的例子， 不管是上的学校， 还是上的过程加油
