求教：AP Physics C对微积分的要求高吗？

孩子下学年想选AP Physics C，但他的数学才学到Algebra II。请问AP Physics C对微积分的要求高吗？自学一点Calculus可以应付吗？

这个学校只提供AP Physics C，没有AP 1,2。其实如果物理的honor课涵盖AP课所有知识点的话，我倾向于他选honor。因为如果从学知识的角度出发，物理概念的真正理解和掌握才是最重要的，一开始就学得太深反而不好。

但还要考虑到以后申请大学，要让成绩单更好看。

现在很犹豫，请各位指导一下：AP Physics C对微积分的要求高吗？
