What would you choose between UCB EECS and USC with national merit half tuition waiver?
NEU is just a lesser version of USC.
1. If you will pick UCB, no brainer.
2. If you are on the fence, then UCB is probably a better option for you.
3. If you pick USC, then you might consider NEU.
Since your student was accepted into UCB EECS with regents scholar, there is a very good chance that he will have other choice better than NEU, so you might be worrying about this too early.
