1. 你要向你的高中申请向你中意的大学发official transcript, 这个申请表上有一栏要填ED,EA,ED2,RD,rolling，etc.
2. 你要邀请你的counselor 上传school reports, recommendation,etc.
3. 如果ED了， 那个ED的学校会要求你sign an ED Agreement。这个Agreement是要学生，家长，counselor三方签字的， 这是paper version。Electronic version呢？拿common app举例，common app会prompt你ED的学校的electronic Agreement，common app同时会email家长和counselor。家长和counselor必须click email里的“同意”button，Agreement才算valid。没有valid ED Agreement，学校会告知你你的application is incomplete。
另外，即使ED了，你也可以同时申请其它学校，如EA公校，RD rolling school， 甚至RD私校as long as you indicate RD。 一但被ED的学校accepted，除非特别原因，per agreement，你必须/应该撤回所有的其它申请。Financial是一主要的“特别原因”，ED的学校会同意你等到这个学校的Financial Package到了后做决定。一般来说，Financial Package（包括有或是没有）会和ED Acception同时到达，如若不是，也会很快。
