7年级的暑假：

2017年的，我竟没记下来。现在 补上：

1，6月中旬，学校 考试周，都是半天课。我果断地 给他报了 2个半月的游泳。3-4次／周，1小时／次。就是活动一下筋骨，也是为恢复训练做准备。

“I can swim for the rest of this month, for 2 weeks in July, and for three weeks in August. I will be away at a sleep away camp for 3 weeks in the summer.”

 

2，7月1日---7月4日 ，NYSC // 纽约灵命进深会  

    只有兄弟俩去的。哥哥本来有些勉强，但去了就喜欢。认识了新朋友，还带着弟弟做了几个小时 check in 的义工。

老大说：“有 中年人感叹 他与弟弟的亲密关系。。。”

 

短短 3天，老大 就认识了新朋友.  扩展了实习范围，又接洽了几家公司。

 

3， 7月6日--7月14 日 教会夏令营 义工。初中生招的少，因为 老二 从5岁就在那个教会的合唱团，所以 申请义工有点 优势。

 

4， 7月16日---7月28日，教会 住宿夏令营。这是他第 3年参加，应他的要求，选的2周的。

“ I like this camp because we have small groups in which we do every thing. This allows us to bond and become closer with people and become better friends. Also, there are a lot of great activities there such as archery, swimming in the lake and so on. ”

 

5， 教会合唱团夏令营。他自 3年级暑假开始，每年都去，度假村 每年不同。

Summer camp is at Incarnation Center from Sunday, July 30-Thursday, August 3rd. 

 

6， 下面的 2周 好象没安排-----他说 不想再动了。

他只要 不住宿，基本上 每天 都要写 一个中文 （20分钟），钢琴，吉他 各 15分钟，游泳，看书， 看 影视（中英 都看，也喜欢看我推荐的）。。。

周五 有钢琴和吉他课，晚上有青少年团契。

周六 好象没有画画课，老师回国了。

周日 去教会。

 

4月份，他考一个 数学夏令营，没考上。我就对他说：“高尖的 咱不行，基础题 就别再丢分了。”

于是，8月初，他比较自觉的在家 练了几套 SHSAT。

7，   

8月中，去了 一个 SHSAT 冲刺班 ，大概做了 6套题。9月初 一开学 就停了。感受一下气氛就行了，也没打算让他换学校。

Overall, you just have to read a lot of books. Try more classics and harder books like Charles Dicken and older writers instead of easy modern books like Percy Jackson and Harry Potter.
