公立学校饭费该全部减免，碰到过别家孩子账户上没钱的尴尬

几年前了，孩子去学校，我是时时会察看账户。有天去得早，让他直接在学校吃早饭。

排队时候，前面那个孩子拿了饭后，收银的说，XX, 你账户上没钱了， 我昨天就提醒过你了，你没给你妈妈说吗， 孩子说，说了，她没打吗。收银说，你必须把食物放回去。然后叫老师，老师赶紧问office有无电话，打好几个电话，都没人接，孩子就趴在食堂餐桌上。我看不过去，直接掏出5刀给收银员和老师说，我把他的早饭和午饭都付掉，can you please make sure he gets breakfast and lunch for at least today.  No children should go to school on an empty stomach.  老师说，that's so nice of you, I will make sure he's all set for lunch too. 让孩子去拿食物。 孩子给我说谢谢，然后很害羞的去拿食物去了.

当时就想，公立学校每年每个孩子从学区拿1万多，早午饭是补贴一部分， 直接全补贴不就完了吗。这孩子明显的不是assisted meal 的， 因为assisted meal 的只需要报上名字就一分钱不掏。我不知道他家是怎么回事情，但是对于这是付费孩子来说，其实特别不公平。
