也给你们看一下跟一个白人讨论,得到的回复

这白男朋友娶了亚裔太太又离婚。有个混血女儿。他老爱讨论亚裔问题。这次他主动问我对最近AA问题的看法。我说的是:

The AA debate is interesting. Once again Asians are collateral and accidental victims. I am very much disillusioned. Kids need to study hard and become well learned and well prepared no matter what. Knowledge and skills are yours to keep. High school and college years are precious years for learning. So work hard no matter what.

结果他长篇大论的回复把我气晕。简直是欲加之罪何患无辞。贴在这里给大家看看。不看都不知道白人里有对亚裔这种想法的人。也许还不是少数?另外他也背书了亚裔细分。道理一套套的。

I don't think that "Asians" are victims either collaterally or accidentally. First, the lack of differentiation in the term "Asian" creates a super-category that's a problem in and of itself. There are differences among ethnic and languages groups, and there are differences among class origins. To reduce everyone to an "Asian" super-category is a very sticky wicket.

Second, the crucial categorical distinction in the US is between white and non-white. The attempt to avoid or ignore that distinction by some "Asians" makes it possible to manipulate social, legal, and educational frameworks in ways that reinforce white supremacist and and white nationalist agendas. That so many very different peoples who do not want to be associated with each other are lumped together in the non-white category is crucial and very useful to those who want to perpetuate the benefit to whites that the binary distinction makes possible.

It's called "divide and conquer." First, you create a false distinction that sets you apart from everyone else. Then, when you face a numbers problem when it comes to managing everyone else, you convince certain sub-groups among the everyone else that they can share what you have so that they do not resist your position and they become blind to the first and most crucial categorical move, that first distinction between white and non-white.

As long as you believe that hard work and innate intelligence is the difference between you and other sub-groups in the non-white category, you will continue to believe that white nationalists and white supremacists will share power with you because you, too, believe you are superior, and so you share with those whites an underlying assumption of superiority that you justify with a hard work ideology.
