While she retreats into sleep in the night
Her soul travels to a softly lit street,
Where during the day she caught fleeting sight 
Of a man she had been longing to meet.
Heavens! the moon sees another soul move
to the same street but at a greater pace!
"mon amie" he murmurs, eyes gleaming love
As she flings herself into his embrace.
