You can't, you can only name a trust as beneficiary.

The trust can be the revocable family trust you set up to own houses, stocks and bank accounts.  The trust is functioning as an "umbrella trust".  

You can have your life insurance payout, 401K/IRA beneficiary all directed to the umbrella trust, and the trust has provisions on how to distribute those monies you received after your death.
