I have put this matter on hold at the moment, because I do not know her real intention is. I just do what I normally do, looking after my team, communicating with other offices and making dicisions. I could have misunderstood her, but I can not see her being so genarous to give me two pay rises in a year. We'll see.

My annual appraisal in on next Monday, I will prepare myself very well for it, listing all the issues I want to talk about and the questions I want to ask.

She is not bad person really. Besides everybody is for himself, you cann't blame her for putting herself in the best position.
