Thanks for your suggestion, borisg. I haven't made a decision yet. Yes, I agree that it's kind of risk to take over a property without checking the inside. The house has a market value of $250k, and now is posting for a bid. My guess is that a bid of $150k might meet the seller's reserve. Not sure how much profit that one can make as it may involve some repair work. I might just watch this time.
