Investors are inspired by upbeat comments made this weekend by Warren Buffett at his annual “capitalist Woodstock” in the U.S. about the outlook for China investments.

Buffet express his confidence about the future outlook of China by saying that in the future, the total value of Chinese companies who go public listed will be more than the one of its American counterparts.

The legendary investor Buffet also said his investments in China are very successful, during his interviews with CBN, a Chinese media. Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway has held stakes in two Chinese companies in the past year. Automaker BYD is off about a quarter in Hong Kong, and oil producer PetroChina has gained a tenth, around 3.5 billion U.S. dollar.

There is no different standard in China to choose an investment, Buffet said so. First of all, we need understand the company, such as its advantages, long term competitive power, management and its credibility. Then, the investor will select a relatively attracting company according to its share price.

Global investors show increasing interest about China. On the annual meeting, there are 3 questions out of 18 on the issue of China, while non of these three questions were asked by Chinese. 400 Chinese investors attend the conglomerate's annual meeting of shareholders in Omaha on Saturday, according to the Chinese media CBN report. According to the CenturyLink Center's Web site, the arena can hold 18,300 people. And every seat is filled.
