Two possibilities: 1)Flashing between brick and roof

1) Flashing between brick and roof not done properly or needs re-caulked.

2) Chiminey brick cement cracks need caulking. From the volume you described this is more likely.

Neither should cost too much. Probably under $100. You may have more water to come out causing ceiling and drywall damages
