Is "Housing Choice" the same as Section 8?

The person I talked to on the phone said they are similar, but not the same.

And is that a good idea to rent a property to someone subsidized by "Housing Choice"?

One of my landlord friends said those tenants can be of lower quality, which means they can damage  your properpy more, even though your rent is guaranteed by the government.
