好消息--退休的开销可以很少（III）

今天不用加班，就可以陪太太逛farmer market了。太太约好了10点给车换油，自然逛farmer market就得早去早回了。大清早的好处是太阳还不太毒，带个草帽就可以舒舒服服地从一个摊子逛到下一个。早晨人也不多，付钱也不用排队。儿子下礼拜三才回来，所以，买吃的自然还不用替他考虑太多。
 
新鲜的玉米不错吧？五毛一根，5块一打，咱买了半打，两块五：

豇豆的新鲜程度赶得上我菜园子里的。正好是作酸豇豆的上好原料，何不来它个三把？才六块钱么：

 
又是桃子！一篮子五块，咱是大肚汉，就一样两篮子，20块够我和太太这个礼拜了：


 
太太不懂怎么看西瓜，我看了两个摊子，看这个蒂把还很新鲜，来一个！价钱写在西瓜上：

 
俺家的女人是一把花就可以哄走的。咱只好讨五块拿买一把把她哄回家。太太说可以开两个礼拜：
