But, 大熊猫是与恐龙同时代的古生物? I find no theory from the Internet... Who can help?

One article says "大熊猫是与恐龙同时代的古生物，经过３００多万年的繁衍顽强地生存到今天，被视为动物界的“活化石”。" Even it claims 同时代, it actually tells us that 大熊猫 was from ３００多万年 ago. But 恐龙消亡于约6千5百万年前的白垩纪晚期... 300 vs 6500?
