One 3-level townhouse was on sale, on Park Lane facing the busy busy street (buses going up and down on it). The asking price is 5 million GBP - that is 10 million USD, for a townhome that is no more than 2500 sqft. :)
Arabs presence are very prominent, judging by the TV channels offered in JWM. There are about 7 channels in total but 4 of them are in Arabic language. It is ridiculous.
BTW, the guy at the reception was shocked when we checked-in for our 2 nighter award - he said the hotel was full to the gill... Yup, I know. I was stalking the award night openings and I caught the brief moment when a 2 nighter was available. I immediately booked it then cancelled our 2 separate one night bookings. (Marriott program progressively reduces pt requirement with more nights booked consecutively.)
