80% of what I know about how to more effectively, efficiently, travel and take advantage of points and miles, I learn from this community.
Our upcoming trip to New Zealand and Australia, travelling on Air NZ business class, using 90K United miles each, would not happen without learning from this community.
Thanks to this community, I know about Starwood will drastically reduce the value of its points. I gave Realblue heads up for that. I myself also used up 100% of our points before the Feb 1 date. The end result is, now it requires almost 100% more pts for the same number of freenights I got for our trip a wedding in Toronto in Sept. I believe Realblue also saved a good chunk of pts, as all London hotels went up one to two categories and the pts required almost doubled.
This is REAL money one can save, all it takes is one's willingness to learn.
