It's a pity that you neither went to Mt. Blanc nor Nice, which are two places worth to visit in France.
It seems that you wasted a lot of time on street in Paris as you are not familiar with the city. Why didn't you consider to use the public transportation there in Europe, where the gas is terribly expensive and the streets are much narrower than ours here in U.S.?
I have been driving in both NYC and San Francisco for over 15 years without any fear. But it's a different story in Paris!
