Arches>capitol reef>Bryce>zion>>>>canyon land (waste of time if you have only a few hours)
Here is the way:
Zion (half a day) and then Bryce stay at Bryce Inn (can be pricy, vist Bryce the next morning and take the Queens Garden trail)
Drive to Capitol reef in late afternoon (take a detour to Kodak SP), stay a night right before entering the Park (cheap, Stay at Best Western capitol reef, you see the reef from your hotel room). You must walk two trails
drive to Arches in late afternoon (take a detour to visit Goblins SP, your kids will love it, takes only 2 hours, stay one to two nights (Best Inn, is managed by a Chinese family, pretty good). Make sure you get to Arches to see sunset, and visit it again the next day. Arches is the best!
