I went to SH last year. Food in there disappointed me a lot! I am in NJ, so I am lucky to have all kinds of decent Chinese good. The sichuan food in NJ is WAY better than I tried in SH (I am from si chuan). Trust me. SH is not that good at all, not even close, don't be fooled by Chinese media.
Imagine that there're hardly any vehicles on the highway from airport to downtown at 9PM of a Saturday nite in a major US city.
