at Exit Glacier in Kenai NP - 3 miles outside Seward on Kenai Peninsula. You can walk on the Glacier at its "foot" (I ruined my walking shoes that way). Or if you are a good hiker, you can take a 6 - 7 hours r/t hike to the top of it - The Harding Icefield - it feeds all the Tidal Glaciers in Kenai NP.

For Tidal Glaciers - you need to take a cruise - either a local cruise, or a traditional cruise - to Kenai NP, College Fjords, Glacier Bay NP.
