Pompeii to Sorrento only 35 min, stay for the night in Sorrento; day2 visit Capri ,book from sharedtours.com (recommended by Ricky's travel book )  Capri 80 euro per person,  they pick you up at hotel and then private boat ( small yacht) best trip ever for me day3: Amafi coast, 50 euro, Positano, ravello, don't go bus tour in Amafi coast, very busy in summer, go back to Rome at night. if you are afraid of not enough time to make the cruise, skip Amafi coast, very busy towns, but Capri is water way.
