But my claim was rejected on the basis that I have no to/return ticket. Alltravel insurance requires coverage for whole trip, not partial trip.
Another thing l learnt about travel insurance is that in case of several illness of family member, you can get refund for cancellation, only the family member has to be resident of the country where you bought the travel insurance.
If you have a gold credit card, you dont need extra travel insurance.
If you live inCanada, check TIC, it cost about $300.
