I got Exilim Z55 couple months ago, the previous version with 5.0 mega pixels.
Pro:
Very compact and light;
Large LCD
Quick response and shorter wait-time between shots
Esay to transfer file to computer without any special software.
Perfect for most ordinary person to get a quick shot on vactation trip or at home.
Con:
Small len makes only average-quality pictures (compared to my Canon G3), especically at low-light environment;
Lack some advanced function.
Only JEPG format file.
I personally did not think it makes any sense to have a poor-quality len combining with high pixels. Casio (and all other manufatures) can add this model line to 20 mpix in near future without any techniques difficulties. However, sadly, picture quality is still the same as EX-Z40, introduced 2 yr ago.
